1. Who We Are
DriveEdge ("we," "us," "our") operates drive-edge.com and the associated Telegram bot (@DriveEdgeBot). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
When you download the free Emergency Protocol guide:
- No personal information is required
When you purchase a guide:
- Email address
- Name (if provided at checkout)
- Phone number (if you buy on the website without Telegram)
- Your agreement to our Terms, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy (with date and time)
- Payment is processed entirely by Stripe — we do not collect or store your credit card details ourselves
When you use our Telegram bot:
- Your Telegram username/ID and the first/last name shown in your Telegram profile
- Messages you send to the bot
Automatically collected:
- Basic website analytics via Google Analytics (pages visited, buttons clicked, general location by country/region)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver purchased guides and the free lead magnet
- To send you access links, receipts, and purchase confirmations
- To send occasional updates about new or updated guides (only if you have opted in — see Section 5)
- To respond to questions or support requests
- To personalize purchased PDF files with a watermark containing your email address or Telegram ID, for copyright protection purposes
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We share limited information with the following service providers, solely to operate DriveEdge:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Telegram — guide delivery via bot
- Make.com — automation connecting our purchase, delivery, and email systems
- Brevo — email delivery for customers who purchase without using Telegram
- Google Drive & Google Sheets — file storage, delivery links and order records
- PDF.co — adding the personal watermark to purchased PDF files
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — generating the Telegram bot's replies to your messages
- Zoho Mail — our support mailbox (support@drive-edge.com)
- Netlify — website hosting
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics
These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and data protection policies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Marketing Communications (CASL Compliance)
We will only send you promotional or marketing messages (e.g., new guide announcements) if you have explicitly opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us at support@drive-edge.com. Transactional messages (purchase confirmations, delivery of what you bought) are not affected by unsubscribing.
6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal or legitimate business retention needs (e.g., financial records required by CRA)
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations (e.g., financial/tax record-keeping requirements). Purchase records are retained in accordance with CRA recordkeeping requirements.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
DriveEdge is intended for adult rideshare drivers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
